OUR STORY
London Holistic was formed as a result of our Founder (Sarah's) experience in Hospitality. Having worked in The City of London as a Corporate Executive Assistant for 10 years, she then decided to secure a job in the heart of Belgravia as an 'Assistant Personal Assistant' (that is an Assistant to the Head PA) to a private family. Their house was very large - Drawing Room, Guest Quarters, Maids' Quarters, Swimming Pool, Gym, Snooker Room, various Living Rooms & multiple Bedrooms with En-Suites. The Head of the House was the decedent of the Levi’s® Jeans family dynasty. Levi Strauss (1829–1902) was a German-born American businessman, who founded the first company to manufacture 'blue jeans'. His firm, Levi Strauss & Co. (Levi's), began in 1853 in San Francisco, California. Sarah worked for the family to whom had bequeathed his fortune, since he did not have any children of his own. Having both seen & experienced the inner workings of Professional Household Management, she decided to give it a go herself & open up her own enterprise, starting by serving some of London's most affluent families. We now serve over 25 regions of London & growing!
INSPIRATION
Sarah's Personal Experience
Working for private families across Belgravia, Chelsea, Knightsbridge & Mayfair as a Private Personal Assistant, has taught Sarah the inner workings of Household Management from top to bottom. From diary management, to organising nannies, builders, gardeners, to scheduling care of pets, booking holidays, liaising & owning projects abroad in California, Monaco, Antibes, Bermuda & Switzerland, to coordinating household staff & setting up daily itineraries. She's seen & experienced the pressure of it all.

We take the stress of 'the home' away from you so that your job is just to simply come home & enjoy it.

Communities between various London Boroughs is what powers us. Our UK Market Coverage Pie Chart on our home page exemplifies this. Not just through pure hard work, but through word-of-mouth & recommendations to friends and family, we have been able to grow as quickly as we have. A good reputation can take you a long way. But it doesn't just stop there; we wake up everyday & go into work with the sole intent and purpose of having to keep proving ourselves. We've made some truly wonderful friends for life to boot in some clients!
Sarah's Great-Grandmother, Gigi
Georgina ('Gigi') Davies was Sarah's paternal Great-Grandmother. Gigi was a Geordie business-woman post World War II. Having come from a mining family in Newcastle (England), she decided to move to London to work in the luxury hotels (namely The Dorchester). From there, she sub-contracted out a lot of Housekeeping work & thus her business was formed. Sarah's paternal Grandfather, John, met Gigi whilst also carrying out hotel work. They worked together, & that is how John met Marion (Gigi's daughter), as she too worked for her mother's business in the hotels. John & Marion had Paul (Sarah's father). Though not a direct inspiration for Sarah's business, it is funny how she has somehow come full circle & ended up doing what her Great-Grandmother did in the 1950s.
